The Customer Service waiting area was fitted out with a new large screen to display Smartmonitor data and call Customers for service using English and Welsh. Bilingual speech was an essential element of the upgrade, as 30% of Llanelli's population speak Welsh.
We installed Smartkey virtual Web based key pads at each Counter, Interview Room and at Reception to record every Customer enquiry. The Reception desk was also provided with a POS desk printer and a Touchscreen to print tickets.
We are pleased to say that this smooth transition from ticket system to Smartsoft has streamlined Customer waiting and created a powerful management tool for Customer Service staff.
